Elizabeth and Logan both attended East Texas Baptist University where she was an athletic trainer and Logan played baseball. Although always in the training room, the two didn’t really talk because, in her words, “the baseball players were trouble”. It wasn’t until Elizabeth attended a Guatemala soccer game that the two crossed paths again, when she made it onto the big screen (the start of her fame), and it made its way to Twitter. Logan took notice of the cute girl and liked the tweet thinking nothing of it. Logan DM’d a friendly “Howdy” and from there the two started talking. Living 4.5 hours away, the two decided to meet in Corsicana for their first date and then proceeded to talk all night. Nowadays you’ll usually find them travelling back and forth between Austin and Longview where they love to get margaritas and spend time with family and friends.
With Elizabeth being so well-travelled, Logan didn’t know what he was getting himself into as he had never been out of the country before. Their first trip was to Paris, France where he learned firsthand how things were going to go as they had a photoshoot for Valentine’s Day. With that knowledge, Logan knew the proposal couldn’t just be any regular spot. So they went to the mountains of Colorado and had another photoshoot, but this time they were engaged at the end of it. If you ask them, they knew two things for sure the entirety of the relationship: they would live in Austin, and the wedding would happen in Guatemala. Which is where we hope you’ll join us in the celebration of the love we share.
